  • Alejandro Carbonell-Alcocer es Personal Investigador Postdoctoral Programa Propio 2020 (URJC), a tiempo completo del Departamento de Comunicación Audiovisual y Publicidad en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Forma parte del grupo de investigación consolidado Ciberimaginario y es miembro del Grupo de Innovación Docente en Comunicación, Tecnologías Digitales y Educación Abierta y del grupo de investigación en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Académicamente, es Doctor Internacional en Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas en la línea de Comunicación, Máster en Formación del Profesorado en la especialidad de procesos y comunicación audiovisual, y Graduado en Comunicación Audiovisual por la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Está especializado en la planificación y desarrollo de proyectos de comunicación digital y periodísticos, interactivos y multimedia y gestión técnico-creativa de proyectos de investigación nacionales e internacionales. Su actividad científica se focaliza en temáticas de comunicación científica y sostenibilidad, educación mediática y ambiental y comunicación digital e inmersiva. Ha publicado 14 artículos en acceso abierto en revistas científicas indexadas destacando Comunicar, El Profesional de la Información, Cogent Social Sciences, Journal of Cleaner Production, Multimodal Technologies and Interacion y Revista Mediterránea de Comunicación, entre otros.Ha realizado una estancia de investigación en el Institute for Simulation & Training (IST) en la University of Central Florida en Estados Unidos (3 meses) financiada por el banco Santander y la URJC. También ha impartido cursos de formación a investigadores y estudiantes en la Universidad Católica Portuguesa en Oporto (STA, Eramus+).

    Alejandro Carbonell-Alcocer is a full-time postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising. He is part of the consolidated research group Ciberimaginario and is a member of the Educational Innovation Group in Communication, Digital Technologies and Open Education innovation group  at Rey Juan Carlos Unviersity. Academically, he holds an International Doctorate in Social Sciences in Communication, a Master's Degree in Teacher Training with specialization in Audiovisual Communication and a Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication (Rey Juan Carlos University). He is specialized in the design and development of digital communication and journalistic, interactive and multimedia projects, as well as in the technical-creative management of national and international research projects. His scientific activities focus on scientific communication and sustainability, media and environmental education, and digital and immersive communication. He has published 14 articles in high impact international scientific journals such as Comunicar, El Profesional de la Información, Cogent Social Sciences, Journal of Cleaner Production, Multimodal Technologies and Interacion and Revista Mediterránea de Comunicación, among others. He has done a research internship at the Institute for Simulation & Training (IST) at the University of Central Florida in the United States (3 months), funded by Santander Bank and URJC. He has also given training courses to researchers and students at the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto (STA, Eramus+).
