  • PhD in Marketing and PhD contract holder in the Department of Business Economics at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. She has participated in research and consultancy projects developed with national and international, public and private entities (13), being IP in some of them (4):7 obtained in national and European competitive calls: one project in the State Research Agency (networks) (from 2020 to 2023); one from the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality/Institute of Women and for Equal Opportunities (from 2015 to 2016); two projects from the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (2008 and 2009), one from the National Institute of Statistics and the Hotel Technological Institute (2007) (IP), one in the European Convergence Programme of ANECA (from 2003 to2004) and one from the Institute of Women (from 2012 to 2013); and 6 articles 83 (of which 3 as IP of the project), My way Hotel, Nh Hotel Group, Subdirección General de Bellas Artes Dirección General de Promoción Cultural Oficina de Cultura y Turismo Comunidad de Madrid, Obra Social La Caixa, Iberostar Management, S. A. and FST Hotel. Palladium Hotels. Recognised a research section evaluated by CNEAI (2013-2018). She has worked since the beginning of her career in the research applied to tourism due to her professional link with hotel management. Her three lines of research are 1ªLINE: "Revenue Management" (RM) is the main line initiated with a Doctoral Thesis that has given extensive research: 7 publications (1 JCR Q1 first decile; 2 JCR Q2 and 2 SJR Q1 and 2 SJR Q2), 2 books chapters in international publishers in the first quartile of the SPI and one book, etc. 2ª LINE: "Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and customer profiling using big data tools" which started with her incorporation to the multidisciplinary/interfaculty research group BigMed+ for the analysis of hotel data (CRM) through big data. This line has also led to an extensive scientific production: 4 publications indexed in 1JCR Q1 and 3JCR Q2. The research was developed in the framework of Contract 83, funded by the hotel chain IBEROSTAR MANAGEMENT S.A.U. in which she was Ip and led to another one with NH HOTEL GROUP and subsequently to a national competitive project financed by the MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND INNOVATION with 115,313 € (PID2019-106623RB-C41). 3rdLINE: "Women and Tourism". It has led to 2 indexed publications (1JCR Q1 and 1SJR Q4). Finally, it should be noted that the applicant is an advisor and collaborator of the hotel employers' association (CEHAT) and the Hotel Technological Institute on these issues. Of the 22 scientific publications indexed, 9 are JCR (4 Q1, 3 in the first decile and 5 Q2), and 5 are SJR (2 Q1, 2 Q2 and 1 Q4). She has published numerous books on Management, Marketing, and Revenue Management in hotels (5/Editorial Síntesis 4) and has written chapters in numerous books (12). She has been a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Pricing and Revenue Management and Tourism Review (JCRQ1). In addition, she has extensive teaching experience in undergraduate and master's degrees at different universities (13). On the other hand, she has also held various management positions at the university level (18 years) (Director of the University School, Secretary of the Faculty, Vice-Dean and currently head of the Interuniversity PhD in Tourism and head of Master of Revenue Management, Business Development and Big Data).
