Presentación

  • Catedrático de Comunicación Digital y Multimedia de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, coordinador del grupo de investigación Ciberimaginario, y coeditor de la revista científica Icono14. Especialista en comunicación y en formación digital, ha sido IP de 8 proyectos de investigación competitivos nacionales e internacionales y ha participado en más de 20.
    Su producción científica cuenta con más de 150 publicaciones entre artículos de investigación, capítulos de libros y monografías.
    Ha sido Vicerrector de Calidad, Ética y Buen Gobierno de la URJC (2018-2021), Director Académico del Centro de Innovación en Educación Digital de la URJC (2013-2017), Consejero Técnico de Nuevas Tecnologías (2003-2007) y Jefe de Servicio de educación a distancia del Ministerio de Educación.
    Ha sido profesor asociado en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1999-2002), la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (1999-2003) y la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2003-2007).
    Ha realizado estancias de investigación en USA en la University of Central Florida y en Escocia en la University of Stirling, y de docencia en Argentina en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, en Colombia, en la Universidad del Norte, y en Brasil en la UDESC.

    Professor of Digital and Multimedia Communication at the Rey Juan Carlos University, coordinator of the Cyberimaginary research group, and co-editor of the scientific journal Icono14. Specialist in digital communication and elearning he has been IP of 8 competitive national and international research projects and has participated in more than 20. He has an extensive scientific production with more than 110 publications including research articles, book chapters and monographs. He has been Vice Chancellor for Quality, Ethics and Good Governance of the URJC (2018 -2021), Academic Director of the Center for Innovation in Digital Education of the URJC (2013-2017), Technical Advisor of New Technologies (2003-2007) and Head of Service of distance education of the Ministry of Education (Spain). He has taught at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1999-2002), Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (1999-2003) and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2003-2007). He is a professor of the Doctorate in Innovation, Communication and Educational Technologies of the ESAE of the Latin American Institute of Educational Culture (Mexico). He has realisazed stays of research in the USA at the University of Central Florida and in Scotland at the University of Stirling. He has taught courses in Argentina at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Colombia, at the Universidad del Norte, and at the UDESC in Brazil.
