  • I obtained a chemistry degree at UCM in 1997. My research tasks started in this university in the department of Inorganic Chemistry, in this department, I worked as an honorific collaborator in the academic course 1998/99 with teaching and research duties. In the course 1998/99 I obtained a pedagogic certificate in UCM. In the period from January to September of 1999, I worked as an analyst in the Company Accenture, S.L. In October 1999 I started as an assistant professor in analytical chemistry in Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, initializing my PhD. My research was focus on the synthesis and characterization of mesoporous materials and their analytical applications. My PhD dissertation took place in March 2004 with the higher mark ¿sobresaliente cum laude¿. In April 2005 I obtained a positive evaluation of Assistant PhD. In my post-doctoral period, I started with different research lines in the preparation and modification of mesoporous silicas, I prepared new materials functionalized with new ligands. In the last years, I have taken place in novel research lines in the preparation and application of mesoporous materials. In 2010 I obtained tenure in analytical chemistry at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. My teaching activities from the academic course 1999/00 to the current course have involved theoretical lectures and laboratory practices, in several subjects such as; Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, food chemistry and Bromatology.   These subjects have been taught in the degrees of Chemical Engineering, double degree in Chemistry and Industrial Organization, double degree in Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, Double degree in Chemistry and Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Experimental Sciences, Food Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics Engineering. Another important aspect to remark is the institutional positions that I have developed in all these years; I have been a member of the council of the different departments where the analytical area has been located. I have been a member of the council and part of the Research Commission of the Science and Technology School. Since the academic course of 06/07, I have been the coordinator of the first course in Chemical Engineering and from the course 09/10 I am the coordinator of the second course of Chemical Engineering and the doubles degrees of Chemistry and Industrial Organization, Chemistry and Environmental Engineering and Chemistry and Energy Engineering. Currently, I am the coordinator of the Erasmus +, Erasmus Mundus and Sicue program in the degree of Food Science and Technology.
