My thesis, for which I was distinguished with the Werner Kraus Award by the German Association of Hispanists (http://hispanistica.de/werner-krauss-preis/preistraegerinnen-2021/), was titled Phonetic production in early and late German-Spanish bilinguals.

During my time at Christian Albrecht University of Kiel and Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, I taught modules on the following topics: Spanish phonetics, Spanish semantics and lexicology, Spanish morphology, linguistic variation in Spain and Brazil, bilingualism in the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world, introduction to linguistics, social history of the languages in the Iberian Peninsula, and history of the Portuguese language.
